We’re Dani & Ludo, the husband-and-wife team behind Ludo Petrik Wedding Photography, based in Newcastle, NSW with our two little guys Sammy & Leo.
We love weddings and everything they entail, and we will do everything we can to ensure your experience with us is as stress free, easy, and enjoyable as possible!!
Deciding which company to book your wedding photography / videography with is a big deal!
Whoever you choose will be there with you for most of the day, you need to feel comfortable around them, be able to have a laugh, relax and be yourselves. For this reason, we like to have a chat with couples before booking, it gives us a chance to get to know each other and for you to get a feel if we would be the right people to work with and capture your big day.

What can you expect when you book with us?
Throughout the planning journey Dani will be your main point of contact (although Ludo is always around for a chat too!) she’ll be there to answer any questions along the way, to help with run sheets, optimal photography timings, coordinate with other vendors etc. ensuring the lead up to your big day is as seamless and stress free from a photography / videography perspective as possible.
Ludo shoots both photo and video and will always be there on the day, and if you book both we’ll have another team member working alongside him. Ludo and the team are all super friendly, great fun and very talented at what they do! All the footage from the day is then edited by Ludo, he’s the one that delivers the gorgeous galleries of wedding photos and creates the unique, beautiful wedding films you see on our website and socials. As you will have seen our style is very relaxed, natural and in the moment, so aside from the bridal portraits when it is good to have some shots with a little more direction, Ludo and our team will be buzzing around in the background capturing the day as it naturally unfolds, for a lot of the time you won’t even know they’re there!
And after it’s all said and done, Dani & Ludo will always be on hand for any final questions. They also capture other life milestones and events like maternity and newborn shoots, christenings, parties, you name it and there’s a high likelihood Ludo has photographed it, so if you have something in the future coming up that you would like captured please reach out, it’s incredibly special having the opportunity to capture even more incredible memories for our couples!
